As an organization we have always had a commitment to working on projects that advance racial justice. Educational justice has been at the core of this work since before our founding. Due to our work on these issues in New York City, by mid February of 2020 we quickly realized that in order to contain the COVID-19 pandemic, school would most likely have to close.
